a little about us
Hi there! We are Sarah & Emilio, a husband-and-wife photo and video duo based here in Colorado.
We’ve spent 6+ years documenting weddings with a focus on timeless storytelling, genuine connection, and making your wedding day a seamless experience from start to finish. We are life partners in all things business and life, which helps bring communication, anticipating each other’s needs and keeping your day calm and effortless in the way we photograph and film together.
We intentionally take on a limited number of weddings each year. This gives us the space to be present for our couples. Whether you need help with your timeline, want to walk through plans, or simply need to hop on a call with questions. We’re here for you from beginning to end.
We love to blend film and digital to create imagery that feels nostalgic yet true to you. We lean heavily on true-to-life colors, natural posing, and storytelling that we believe will hold its beauty for generations.
our story
We met in College while living in Hawaii. It was Sarah’s last semester of college and Emilio’s first. We ended up long distance dating for 6 months after Sarah graduated and was working in Florida. Eventually, Sarah was able to get a job and move back to the islands where we got married and got our puppy We loved every minute of living in Hawaii. While we were dating, Emilio liked to steal Sarah’s camera to learn video and we have been a photo video team ever since.
We love being in the water!
Now, we are living in Colorado where we welcomed our daughter this fall. Our life revolves around wedding days, road trips, growing our business, raising our daughter, taking our dog on adventures, and just enjoying life here in Colorado. We love the mountains, our little family, and documenting love stories.

We are huge water people. Underwater photography is where our love for photography really grew. We have taken underwater photos all over the world and it is truly one of our passions.

Our Process
01
Inquiry
We ask all couples to schedule a quick video call through our scheduler link so we can get to know each other and hear more about your vision. We believe personal connection matters, and it is important that you feel comfortable with the team that will spend the entire day with you.
After the call, we create a customized proposal that fits your needs, budget, and preferences.

Booking
Once you’ve decided on a personalized package and any additional add ons, we secure your date by signing a contract. We ask for a 20% retainer to secure your wedding date.
The remaining payment is due one month before the wedding. This can be split up into smaller payments or paid as one lump sum.

Planning
One month before the wedding, we send you a detailed questionnaire to finalize the timeline, important moments, and preferences.
We are also happy to hop on another call or connect with your planner to make sure we have all the details of your day.

Delivery
After your wedding, you will receive your full photo and video gallery within 8 to 12 weeks. Super 8 and 35mm film follow a traditional lab process, so turnaround time can be longer than standard digital coverage. Engagement or couple sessions are delivered within 2 to 4 weeks.
Everything is delivered through an online gallery with one year of access, and you have full printing rights for all photography sessions.

But honestly, if you looked through their photos, you’d probably never be able to tell.
Our approach is never about forcing poses or creating moments that don’t feel like you. We take the time to get to know our couples so you can actually feel comfortable, relaxed, and present instead of feeling like you’re performing for a camera all day 😊
Some moments are definitely guided, but so many of our favorite photos happen naturally in the in-between moments 🤍
Our goal is for your photos and films to feel authentic to you, not overly posed or forced 🫶🏼

What you don’t need to worry about during your session 🤍
We hear it all the time from our couples:
“We don’t know how to pose.”
“We’re awkward in front of the camera.”
“We’re nervous it’ll feel uncomfortable.”
Trust us, we get it. But you don’t need to have all of that figured out 🫶🏼
We’re there to guide you through everything, help you feel comfortable, and we will never force poses that don’t feel like you. We also make sure to fix all the little details like hair and outfit adjustments along the way.
Our goal is for your session to feel more like hanging out with friends while capturing beautiful photos/videos together 🤍
If possible, we always recommend engagement sessions to help us get comfortable with each other before the wedding day so everything feels comfortable when the day arrives!
